Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 14, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the Conflict Analysis Battery (“CAB,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our platform. It should be read together with our Terms of Service.

The platform is intended for and directed only to residents of the United States. It is not directed to individuals in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions outside the United States, and it is not designed to comply with the data-protection laws of those jurisdictions.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use the platform:

  • Account information — such as your email address and authentication details.
  • Assessment data — your survey responses, the canvas drawings you submit, and the free-text narratives you provide as part of an assessment.
  • Generated content — the assessment reports and, where applicable, creative outputs (such as poems or songs) produced from your assessment.
  • Usage and technical information — basic information generated by your use of the platform, used to operate and secure the service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Create and deliver your assessment reports.
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the platform.
  • Communicate with you about your account and the services.
  • Where you have agreed to our Terms of Service, create optional and experimental creative outputs (such as a poem and a song or other audio) inspired by the themes of your assessment, as described in Section 3 below.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

3. Third-Party Service Providers and AI Processing

To generate your assessment reports, we use third-party artificial-intelligence services (such as OpenAI) that process your assessment data on our behalf.

If you use our optional, experimental creative-output features, additional processing occurs. The text of your assessment is first sent to a third-party AI provider (such as OpenAI) to generate a poem. We instruct that provider to omit names, locations, ages, occupations, and other directly identifying details, but we cannot guarantee that all identifying information is removed, and this content is not anonymous or de-identified. The resulting poem and a short style description are then sent to a third-party music or audio provider to generate audio.

These third-party providers act as our service providers and are permitted to use your data only to perform services for us, not for their own purposes. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the independent privacy practices of these providers, and their handling of data is governed by their own terms and policies.

4. Sensitive Personal Information

Because the platform is a psychological assessment tool, some of the information you provide may be considered “sensitive personal information” under applicable U.S. state privacy laws. We use this information to provide the platform and the features you request, and, where you have agreed, to create the optional creative outputs described above. You may direct us to limit our use of your sensitive personal information to what is necessary to provide the platform by contacting us, and we will honor that request as required by applicable law.

5. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Subject to applicable U.S. law, you may:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction or deletion of your personal information.
  • Request that we limit the use of your sensitive personal information.
  • Opt out of the optional creative-output features at any time, or ask us to remove any creative output that has been made available to you. On request we will stop further processing for these features, unpublish the output, and delete the stored audio from our systems within thirty (30) days. Deleting your account will also remove these outputs. We cannot guarantee deletion of any copies or logs held by third-party providers.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. To make a request, please use our Contact page.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the platform, and thereafter only as required to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we delete or de-associate your assessment data, generated reports, and any creative outputs from our active systems, subject to the limitations described above regarding third-party providers.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

The platform is intended only for individuals who are at least 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

10. Contact Us

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your information, please contact us through the Contact page.
