Welcome to the Conflict Analysis Battery (“CAB,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our platform, including completing surveys, submitting drawings, and receiving AI-generated assessment reports, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before using the platform.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the platform.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use this platform. By creating an account or using the platform, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older. If we learn that a user is under 18, we reserve the right to immediately terminate their account and delete any associated data.

The platform is intended for and directed only to residents of the United States. By creating an account or using the platform, you represent and warrant that you are located in, and a resident of, the United States. The platform is not directed to individuals in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions outside the United States.

2. Nature of the Platform

The Conflict Analysis Battery is a psychological assessment platform designed for informational and research purposes. The platform enables users to complete conflict analysis surveys, submit creative drawings, and receive AI-generated assessment reports.

3. User Accounts

To use the platform, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You may not create an account on behalf of another person without their explicit consent.

4. Services and Pricing

The platform offers both free and paid features. Free features may be accessed without charge. Paid features, such as certain assessment types or premium report options, require payment before access is granted.

All fees are clearly disclosed before purchase. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Changes will not apply retroactively to purchases already made.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, all payments are final and non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Provide false or misleading information during surveys or registration.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the platform or its AI systems.
• Use the platform to harass, impersonate, or harm others.
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform’s infrastructure or security.
• Use automated tools (bots, scripts) to access the platform without written permission.
• Attempt to access another user’s account or data.

6. Data and Privacy

By using the platform, you consent to the collection and processing of data you provide, including survey responses, canvas drawings, and account information. This data is used to generate your assessment reports and to improve the platform.

Your data is stored securely and is not sold to third parties. Assessment reports are accessible only to you through your account. We may use anonymized, aggregated data for research and platform improvement purposes.

AI-generated reports may be processed using third-party AI services (such as OpenAI). By using the platform, you consent to your anonymized assessment data being processed by such services for the purpose of generating your report.

As part of new and experimental features, and by creating an account and agreeing to these Terms, you consent to our using the content of your completed assessment to create additional creative or derivative outputs inspired by its themes, such as a poem and a song or other audio. These features are optional and separate from your standard assessment report.

To create these outputs, the text of your assessment is first sent to a third-party AI provider (such as OpenAI) to generate a poem. We instruct that provider to omit names, locations, ages, occupations, and other directly identifying details, but we cannot guarantee that all identifying information is removed, and this content is not anonymous or de-identified. The resulting poem and a short style description are then sent to a third-party music or audio provider to generate audio. These providers act as our service providers and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes; we do not sell your data. These features are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that any output will be generated, that it will be of any particular quality, or that it will remain available, and we may change or discontinue these features at any time. Where an output is produced, an authorized reviewer may make one version available to you through your account and by email. You may opt out of these features or ask us to remove any output at any time by contacting us; on request we will stop further processing, unpublish the output, and delete the stored audio from our systems within thirty (30) days, and deleting your account will also remove it. We cannot guarantee deletion of any copies or logs held by third-party providers.

Because these outputs are generated by artificial intelligence, their intellectual property status may be uncertain, and we make no representation that you or we own any rights in them. Any such output is provided for your personal, non-commercial use only and remains subject to the terms of the third-party providers that generate it.

The platform also offers “Analyze,” an optional AI-powered chat tool that interprets text and, where supported, images you submit through the lens of the Formal Theory of conflict. Text and images you submit to Analyze are sent to a third-party AI provider (such as OpenAI) for processing; that provider acts as our service provider and is not permitted to use your content to train its models or for its own independent purposes. Your Analyze conversations are stored in your account so you can revisit them, and you may delete them at any time. Analyze is educational and interpretive only — it does not constitute a clinical diagnosis, medical advice, or a substitute for professional therapy.

7. Intellectual Property

All platform content, including but not limited to the assessment methodology, prompts, software, design, and generated reports, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Your assessment reports are provided to you for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, distribute, or publicly share your reports without our prior written consent.

Content you submit (survey responses, drawings) remains yours. By submitting it, you grant us a limited license to process and store it for the purpose of providing the platform’s services to you.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any results obtained will be accurate or reliable.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the platform or its reports, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the platform shall not exceed the total amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the platform at our sole discretion, with or without cause, and with or without prior notice. Grounds for termination may include, but are not limited to, violation of these Terms, suspected fraudulent activity, or extended inactivity.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately. We may retain your data as required by law or legitimate business purposes.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or, if necessary, binding arbitration or courts of competent jurisdiction within the United States.
